Okay, okay. I am way too spoiled! Kimberly had a 27-hour layover last weekend so I hopped on the flight she was working and joined her in Seattle, WA.
It was so fun for just a one-day trip! We visited the Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum, the Seattle Space Needle, and the Pike Place Market (all the touristy spots of course).
We ate at Toulouse Petit, The Pink Door, and Piroshky Piroshky.

Kimberly and I have gone on a few spontaneous trips. But this might be my favorite one. It was very rare that she was able to have the week of New Year's Eve off from flying. So, what were we going to do? Well - we went to Hawaii!
Kimberly took me to eat at some amazing places like Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, Leonard's Bakery, Side Street Inn, and Koa Pancake House.
We also got to visit Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. We even went inside the USS Bowfin submarine!
And, we went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay! It was my first time and I was pretty impressed with how I was able to catch on pretty quick with breathing thru a snorkel. I got scared one time though when we swam out farther into the deep part of the bay. It was really cool seeing some of the fish that hang around the coral reefs.
Can't wait for our next spontaneous trip!
