Destroyed, but not forgotten.

Found out this morning through a Facebook group I'm in that the Point Reyes Shipwreck was burned down over the weekend by some photographers who were spinning wool.

I'm all for creativity and fire, but when it destroys property is when it crosses the line. And honestly, I've never been a fan of spinning wool. It was cool for about a week when it first blew up and now it's become a cliche.

I've been reading comments that the local fire department will be removing the wreckage since it's now hazardous. Also, the 2 photographers responsible from what I've read have deleted their IG images and it's only a matter of time until they are held responsible.

You can see that the stern is completely burned down.

I've been planning to go back up to Point Reyes and to visit the lighthouse and the shipwreck is on the way. Now it's one stop that I won't be making anymore since it may be gone by the time I get back up there.

Here's some photos of the ship before it was destroyed that I took late last year.
