My name is Rico Deasis and my passion is being behind the camera whether it be taking photos or filmmaking. I recently graduated from California State University East Bay receiving my Bacherlor's of Arts in Communications focusing on Media Production. Currently, I am the Marketing Assistant at the College of Business and Economics at CSUEB.

I began to take photography more seriously when I bought my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in 2010. I photograph weddings, graduations, life events, and portraits. Through photography, I have found a passion in filmmaking sparked by creating alumni testimonials for the College of Business and Economics and micro-documentaries for my college courses during the 2014 Fall Quarter. I recently found a new interest in podcasting from taking a college radio course in my 2015 Winter quarter.

Right now, as the Marketing Assistant for the College of Business and Economics, I create alumni testimonials and film workshops and events the college offers students. I also help organize events for the College of Business and Economics, maintain the college’s landing page, and research trends in in social media to promote prospective students to attend California State University East Bay.

I'm not sure what I really want to do - but all I know is I enjoy taking photos and creating things.
